The 2019 to 2022 model year Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade, Cadillac CTS, Chevrolet Corvette and Chevrolet Camaro are experiencing serious engine problems. These engine problems include, but are not limited to – lack of power, check engine light illuminating, excessive engine noise, engine knocking, engine ticking, engine misfire, engine stall, etc.
Some of the engine problems in these vehicles are a result of defective lifters. These defective engine lifters are found in the 5.3 liter, 6.0 liter and 6.2 liter gas engines.
General Motors LLC is aware of the above-mentioned engine problems and is unable to fix the defects.
