Ford Motor Company has a major problem with its later year model Super Duty (F-250, F-350, etc.) trucks. Specifically, some of these vehicles have what is known as the “Death Wobble.” In the cases that I have handled, the “Death Wobble” occurs at freeway speeds after the vehicle hits a bump, groove or dip in the road. The steering wheel then shakes uncontrollably and will only stop shaking if the vehicle’s speed is substantially reduced. Obviously the “Death Wobble” creates a major safety issue for occupants of the vehicle and other road users.
